Financial Leadership Partner CFO Level Consultant - Remote, Part-Time

The Herring Group is seeking a Financial Leadership Partner (FLP) to guide small and medium-sized businesses on achieving higher profitability through their financial leadership. This 100% remote position focuses on pricing, operational reporting, incentive plans, and business strategy, and requires a strategic thinker to drive real change. The role involves leading financial strategy, customizing models, and collaborating with a team to enhance processes.

Requirements

• 10-20 years of experience in financial management, with a FP&A, CFO, Controller, or Consultant title
• Background in management consulting, CFO or Controller type roles
• Experience working with companies in the SMB market
• Entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to help grow a purpose-driven firm
• Strategic thinking and the ability to turn insights into action
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Comfort with financial modeling, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making
• Must reside in Texas, Georgia, or Colorado
