Policy and Data Analysis Intern (Washington DC)

The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) is seeking a Policy and Data Analysis Intern to support applied research on the impacts of the global transportation sector on climate change and public health.

Requirements

• Strong academic record in engineering, economics, policy, transportation, environment, or energy studies
• Demonstrated academic or professional experience in vehicle technology, climate change, air quality, energy, or environmental issues
• Superior proficiency in data analysis with Python (pandas, scipy, numpy, matplotlib) or R (tidyverse) alongside Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, complex conditional statements)
• Demonstrated skills in policy or related research, analysis, and presentation
• Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and engage effectively with team members
