Job Description
We are seeking a Packaging Operator to work on our night shift. The ideal candidate will have experience in food processing and packaging machinery, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be willing to learn and adapt to new situations. The role involves operating, adjusting, and changing over automatic equipment, as well as maintaining a clean operating area and following GMPs and housekeeping guidelines.
Requirements
- Read and follow batch ticket instructions
- Stand and walk continuously on a cement floor
- Maintain a clean operating area
- Bend and lift using proper techniques, up to 50 lb. occasionally to a lifting height of 44"
- Bend, using proper lifting techniques to a height of 8" occasionally
- Climb and balance on 6 to 10 ft ladders occasionally
- Twist at waist and reach at or below shoulder height frequently
- Input and retrieve information using a computer
- Operate, adjust, and change over automatic VFFS, Cartoning and Case packing Equipment
