Litigation Fellow (2026-28)

The Lawyering Project is a legal advocacy organization dedicated to promoting reproductive health, rights, and justice in the United States. They seek a Litigation Fellow for a two-year fellowship, starting in September 2026, to support their litigation program. The fellowship will involve case development, litigation support, and providing legal advice to clients, focusing on reproductive rights and justice. This is an entry-level position, and the ideal candidate is eager to develop litigation skills.

Requirements

• A J.D. or equivalent degree
• A keen interest in developing litigation skills
• Commitment to promoting reproductive justice
• Knowledge of reproductive rights jurisprudence
• Skill in legal research, analysis, and writing
• Ability to take initiative, manage tasks, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure
• Organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to travel domestically on an airplane 6-12 times per year
