Mechanical Design Engineer

Join our client as a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer and take on a fast-paced role that combines advanced engineering design, project execution, and vendor management. You will oversee multiple projects, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to the successful delivery of engineering projects.

Requirements

• University Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 3 - 6 years experience in a relevant engineering environment (heavy engineering/offshore/subsea preferred)
• Strong interest in design and proven SolidWorks expertise (3D CAD modelling/drawing)
• Skilled in strength calculations and FEA/simulation (SolidWorks Simulation advantageous)
• Familiarity with Mathcad, MATLAB, or similar engineering software beneficial
• Knowledge of fabrication, welding, and machining processes
• Exposure to ASME VIII, API, and classification society rules (ABS, DNV) desirable
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams) with excellent written and verbal English communication
