Job Description
The Mechanical Design Head is a strategic and technical leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of mechanical design across water and wastewater treatment projects, leading and managing a team of skilled engineers.
Requirements
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in mechanical design, including team leadership
- Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (Professional registration advantageous)
- Proven experience leading mechanical design in the water or wastewater sector
- Strong background in mechanical plant design, piping systems, and pump stations
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Proficient in CAD platforms and Microsoft Project
- Solid understanding of EHS and quality compliance standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to engineering challenges
