We are looking for a Chemical Lab Technician to join our team at Nico Products in Minneapolis, MN. The successful candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment or a college degree in chemistry. The role involves performing titrations, Atomic Absorption Spectrometer analysis, and other analysis and testing as needed. Requirements
- Fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must be a US citizen or have authorization to work in the US
- Must be able to read a ruler/tape measure and analog clock
- Must be able to maintain a regular and reliable attendance record
- Ability to be on time and work scheduled shift
- Ability to pay attention to detail and follow written instructions
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Ability to follow safety procedures to avoid injuries
- Ability to stand, twist, lift, pinch, walk, bend, kneel as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer entry skills (preferred)
- 2-5 years in manufacturing/production environment or college degree in chemistry
- Good organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lift and move 1-50 lbs. as needed
- Ability to interact with co-workers and supervisors in a cooperative manner
- Math skills required
- Ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously
- Ability to work independently without supervision
