Animal Care Intern

The Living Desert is seeking an Animal Care Intern to join our team. This paid internship position will take place Spring 2026 and will be flexible in hours ranging from 8-22 hours worked per week. The intern will assist with animal care, interact with guests, and help share The Living Desert's conservation messages.

Requirements

• Represent The Living Desert in a professional manner
• Interact with guests and be knowledgeable about The Living Desert's conservation messages
• Uphold The Living Desert's brand, standards, and culture
• Follow and abide by all rules enforced through The Living Desert Employee Handbook
• Have strong organizational and communication skills
