The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Patient Access Specialist to join our Adult and Children’s programs. The Patient Access Specialist is a full time position that involves screening phone requests from individuals and other agencies for MHCGM clinical services as well as face to face screening of persons who walk in for our Open Access Intakes.
Requirements
- Conduct phone screenings for individuals and partner agencies requesting MHCGM clinical services
- Provide in-person screenings for walk-ins seeking support through our Open Access Intake process
- Use strong interviewing and assessment skills to gather essential information and determine appropriate next steps
- Coordinate referrals and placement for a variety of behavioral health services
- Manage emergency and crisis calls with professionalism, empathy, and quick access to appropriate resources
