CODING SPECIALIST

This role involves performing thorough examination and evaluation of medical record documentation to assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes. The position requires accuracy and adherence to coding guidelines. The role involves data retrieval, analysis, and claims processing. Supervised work is expected with an emphasis on accuracy and meeting performance expectations.

Requirements

• Considerable knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and positive attitude.
• Successful completion of a coding certificate program with American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) approval status
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent Required
