Job Description
Seeking an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations, manage complex grant funding, and ensure compliance in a dynamic nonprofit environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of nonprofit finance experience, with a strong focus on grant accounting and compliance
- Deep understanding of fund accounting, GAAP, and OMB Uniform Guidance
- Experience managing multiple grant sources, including federal, state, and private funding
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
