The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Development will provide strategic leadership for fundraising efforts across multiple colleges and units at The Ohio State University. This role involves overseeing a broad range of development activities, managing multiple college/unit leaders, and guiding the team in the creation and execution of annual and campaign work plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Minimum of 14 years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role within a development office, preferably in a higher education or non-profit setting.
- Experience overseeing and providing strategic direction to multiple teams or units within a development organization.
- Experience in fostering partnerships between development teams and other institutional units, ensuring alignment with overall strategic goals.
- 5 years of experience managing teams.
