The Unit Clerical Associate (UCA) functions as an integral member of a team of care providers on a patient care unit, who reflect a culture of cooperation, enthusiasm, and mutual respect. The team provides patient care and supportive services that are directed towards achievement of patient care outcomes.

Requirements

• Ability to calculate fractions, decimals and percentages
• Ability to read and write common vocabulary and medical terminology
• 1 month experience or 1 course in office practices and procedures
• 1 month experience or 1 course in public relations
• 1 month experience or 1-course in data entry or typing
