Job Description
The Summer Intern, Construction Management role offers hands-on exposure to construction management activities for major capital projects, supporting the delivery of complex transportation infrastructure projects. Interns will work alongside experienced Port Authority construction professionals, gaining experience in field inspections, project coordination, and monitoring construction progress.
Requirements
- Enrollment at a college or university at the time of the internship
- Major in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related discipline
- Experience with Microsoft apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in contributing to the success of the New York and New Jersey region
- Interest in public service and/or transportation
