Behavioral Health Medication Technician (BHMT) provides direct care and support to patients in a residential behavioral health setting. This role requires accurately reading and understanding medication orders, monitoring and documenting patient self-administration of medications, and supporting patient care by observing behaviors and assisting with treatment-related activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or a related field preferred
- Medication Administration Certification, Med Tech Certification Course (annually) required
- CPR and Standard First Aid certification
