Job Description
The Labour Relations Specialist is responsible for delivering labour relations and employee relations services to hospital leaders. This includes building and managing the employer-union relationship, supporting the development of labour relations skills, and ensuring a consistent standard of proactive labour and employee relations across the organization.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations or a related area of study
- Minimum 3 years of broad and progressive labour relations experience
- Active participation in collective bargaining and contract administration
- Knowledge and experience of Human Resources
- Experience working in a diverse and decentralized organization
- Experience in dealing with significant organizational change
- Thorough knowledge of hospital policies, rules, regulations, and employment-related legislation
