The Royal Melbourne Hospital is looking for a Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join their team in Norfolk Terrace, VIC, AU. The role involves providing recovery-oriented mental health care in a residential rehabilitation setting, supporting consumers to develop daily living skills, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Registration as a registered nurse under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act (2009) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing or equivalent, or, Bachelor Degree in Nursing plus a Postgraduate qualification in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing.
- Health and Wellbeing Act 2022 and relevant public mental health legislation
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organisational, communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commitment to The Melbourne Way and hold a Victorian (or equivalent) driver’s licence
