Cook

The Salvation Army is seeking a Full Time Cook for the San Antonio Area Command. The Cook will cook and serve nutritional meals and snacks, ensure kitchen facilities are clean and safe, and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and food.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• One-year experience cooking food for large groups
• Food Handler's Certificate (or ability to obtain within established timeframe)
• Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively
• Ability to cook, taste and smell food
