Cost Estimator V

The Tsui Group is seeking a Cost Estimator V to join their aviation team in Los Angeles County. The role involves developing and reviewing cost estimates, managing estimators, and maintaining historical cost data. It requires proactive communication and coordination with project management and estimators. The position may involve working various shifts.

Requirements

• Develop conceptual and detailed estimates for various scopes of work
• Direct and manage other estimators/estimating teams as needed
• Review construction and design cost proposals and change order requests
• Review the labor rates and markups to ensure conformance to the contract specifications
• Review quantities and labor productivity to ensure fair and reasonable representation of scope
• Review the material pricing and validate against R.S. Means
• Review contract documents and contract modifications
