Director, Nursing Programs

Join a world-class academic healthcare system, UChicago Medicine, as the Director, Nursing Programs at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, Illinois. The Director will lead and foster strategic nursing-related programs and ensure nursing quality across Ingalls.

Requirements

• BSN and MSN required
• Current RN licensure in the State of Illinois
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience, including operational and budget responsibility in an acute care hospital environment
• Experience in a Magnet designated organization is strongly preferred
• Credible expert about nursing professional practice with demonstrated experience guiding organizational change towards consistently following nursing professional practice model
• Hands-on experience with program management and deployment
• Knowledge of continuous process improvement methodology, including Six Sigma or Lean
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative staff
• Able to navigate effectively with high-level internal and external contacts
• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated leadership qualities, and a notable record of accomplishments
