- Answers patient/significant others phone calls and evaluates patient's needs

- Coordinates health care services with hospital, vendors, physician's offices and other institutions

- Demonstrates critical thinking utilizing all aspects of the nursing process
- Develops, implements and evaluates plan of care that recognizes changes in the patient's condition and adapts plan as needed
- Identifies area for professional growth
- Independently performs a comprehensive assessment to provide the most effective patient care for a given population
- Maintains a safe environment for patients
- Performs nursing assessments and triage of patient care needs for new and ongoing patients
- Provides direct nursing care for specified patients
