Security Officer

To perform all security functions, including operating security equipment, responding to emergencies, and providing customer service. Requires knowledge of security protocols and ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.

Requirements

• Conduct internal and external patrols to inspect for unlocked doors, burned out lights/signage, maintenance issues, and enforce tobacco use policy
• Control visitor access during non-visiting hours
• Transport deceased patients and assist funeral home representatives
• Provide assistance to customers, including directions, vehicle jump starts, and locating lost vehicles
• Respond to emergency codes and calls for security assistance
• Investigate incidents of unusual circumstances
• Perform routine tasks, such as monthly grounds inspections and fire extinguisher inspections
