Reading Interventionist

The Meadows Center for Preventing Education Risk at The University of Texas at Austin is looking for individuals to serve as reading interventionists in Hutto ISD. You will be part of a team that works with students in public schools located in Hutto providing small group reading instruction to elementary school students.

Requirements

• Teach students to help them improve their word reading and reading comprehension skills
• Travel to Hutto ISD schools
• Receive training on providing high-quality instruction using lesson plans developed by the MCPER research team
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
