Software Engineer II

We are seeking a Software Engineer II to build a unified image service platform for Disney's media business. The team is responsible for designing and building products and platforms that power Disney's media, advertising, and distribution businesses.

Requirements

• Design core, backend software components for the Image Service Platform
• Collaborate with other Image Service engineers and external engineering teams
• Build and manage code in AWS using CloudFormation or Terraform
• Evaluate new or existing technologies and products for implementation
• Create technical documentation and runbooks
• Use a mix of technologies including Scala, Java, Python, Kafka, Kinesis, DynamoDB, MySQL and an array of AWS native services
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve product and business requirements
• Conduct design and code reviews
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
