The Weather Company is hiring a Meteorological Operations Specialist to provide quality control and meteorological support for premier data products and services worldwide.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, or a related area of study
- 1+ years of relevant experience in weather forecasting and analysis
- Proven understanding of theoretical and practical meteorology
- Demonstrated knowledge of a wide variety of meteorological datasets
- Strong telephone, written, and interpersonal customer service and communication skills
- Ability to deliver operational content consistently and accurately within rigid time constraints
- Demonstrable organizational, data analysis, data collation, and process management skills
- Exceptional ability to effectively multitask and adjust priorities based on changing weather conditions in a fast-paced operational environment
