Welder

Weir is seeking a skilled Welder / Fitter to join their team in Lively, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading, understanding, and executing fabrication instructions, manually welding, and preparing work pieces for welding. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in welding is an asset.

Requirements

• Read, understand, and execute fabrication instructions
• Manually weld maintaining length of arc and speed of movement
• Repair broken or cracked parts and fills holes
• Prepare broken parts for welding
• Cut and prepare work pieces using oxy-fuel cutting and grinding
