Alternate Greenhat

The Alternate Green Hat is responsible for ensuring the broadcast of the game occurs in a scheduled, timely manner, serving as a liaison between the officiating crew, broadcasting network, and NFL Broadcast Representative.

Requirements

• Understanding all NFL Broadcasting policies regarding game administration and commercial coordination
• Being on site no less than two hours before kickoff and staying through the conclusion of the game
• Providing direction to the assigned network Orange Sleeves in the execution of signals and approving opportunities for commercial breaks
• Submitting at least one postgame report per season detailing the commercial breaks, game timing, and overall operation
• Participating in preseason training seminar and weekly conference calls during the season
• Upholding the NFL's core values of Respect, Integrity, Resiliency and Responsibility to Team
