The Senior Coordinator, Financial Planning & Analysis will serve as a pivotal member of the Finance department, collaborating closely with the League’s corporate and operational finance teams to deliver precise and insightful financial data crucial for guiding strategic business decisions.
Requirements
- Administer the financial reporting system, ensuring meticulous data accuracy, and collaborating with financial system to identify and implement system enhancement opportunities.
- Facilitate the transition from the existing reporting system to a new reporting framework, in alignment with the broader finance transformation initiative.
- Consult with internal business partners to streamline processes and automate data extraction methods, fostering faster information retrieval and enhancing financial transparency.
- Develop, maintain, enhance, and automate FP&A reports, ensuring they align with organizational needs and standards.
- Proactively investigate and troubleshoot issues, taking decisive action to resolve discrepancies and maintain the integrity of financial data.
- Play a key role in supporting the quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting, and long-term planning processes via data integrity and reporting
- Collaborate in the development of comprehensive financial reports and presentations tailored for League and Club Executives, ensuring accuracy and clarity in communication
- Special projects and ad hoc analyses/reports as requested
