General Labor B&L

Thompson Pipe Group is looking for General Labor to work on a full-time basis in Grand Prairie, Texas. The job involves lifting and carrying materials, completing final finishes on poured concrete products, and assisting with installation and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a construction or outside environment and be able to lift 35 lbs or more.

Requirements

• Lifts and carries materials and tools throughout work areas using appropriate equipment.
• Completing final finish on a poured concrete product, using power tools and hand tools
• Use hand tools such as the hammer, sledgehammer, wrench, pliers to accomplish daily tasks.
• Assist with the install of plates, rebar, and wire, insulation, lifters, reveals, and anchors.
• Tying rebar, grinding, buffing, taping and cutting strand, cleaning Burks, bagging in blackouts, finish exposed sides
• Patch Concrete Pipes- blending structural concrete, working with many different raw materials.
• Maintains neat and orderly work areas.
• Cleaning Yard and picking up trash.
• Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
• Perform pre-operation inspections on an assigned forklift to ensure it is in safe operating condition
