Job Description
Thomson Reuters is seeking a Lead Software Engineer, CoCounsel AI Assistant who will lead multiple and/or significant projects, programs and business initiatives, demonstrating creativity and ingenuity.
Requirements
- At least five years professional software development experience
- Formal computer science education is a plus but is not required
- Experience in technical leadership such as mentoring other engineers, breaking features down into stories, discussing competing implementations, etc.
- Deep expertise in back-end technologies and architectures (e.g., Python, React, FastAPI, event-driven systems, API design, realtime communication such as websockets, RPC, or SSEs)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively, and a self-starter mentality with quick learning and adaptability
- Proven ability to execute both tactical and strategic solutions
