Job Description
Thorlabs is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk I to contribute to inventory management and forecasting at various corporate objectives. The role involves reading production orders, maintaining accuracy, operating barcode systems, and assisting with other inventory-related tasks. The position is primarily on-site and may require occasional travel. This role is critical for ensuring meeting customer expectations and managing cash flow effectively.
Requirements
- Familiarity with bar coding and scanning systems.
- Basic understanding of inventory counting procedures.
- Ability to operate a bar code scanning apparatus.
- Good attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of production work orders and related inventory documents.
- Basic understanding of distribution practices.
- Performing Daily Cycle Counts as needed.
- Executing transfers of products.
- Replenishing locations from overflow.
