Job Description
As an Engineering Manager, Platform at Thrive Global, you will lead the Platform team to build and deliver the foundation of Thrive's products. You will partner closely with engineering leadership and stakeholders to design, build, and innovate libraries, tools, and systems that enable product teams to deliver a world-class product.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an Engineering manager, preferably in a startup environment
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Technical enough to drive clarity with staff engineers about architecture and technical strategic decisions
- Production development experience in React, Webpack, TypeScript
- Passion for working and leading people & technology, inspiring them to perform at their best
- Experience building, running, and debugging scalable and reliable microservice-based applications
- Strong understanding of systems design and its impact on application architecture
