Job Description
Thurston County is seeking a Senior Management Analyst to provide technical, professional, and managerial oversight in governmental accounting, financial reporting, systems administration, and policy development. This role supports the financial services manager and fosters effective county operations. The position requires a leader who can mentor staff, ensure accuracy, and improve financial processes.
Requirements
- Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for accounting and technical staff.
- Support the Financial Services Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of countywide accounting operations.
- Leads financial system configuration and process improvement initiatives in Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with departments to resolve complex accounting, grant, and reporting issues.
