Backend Engineer

We're at a pivotal moment for both Tibber and the planet. We're looking for a Backend Engineer to join us in making the energy transition happen.

Requirements

• Senior backend experience building and operating distributed systems in production environments
• Strong engineering practices (testing, observability, CI/CD)
• Comfortable in high-transaction domains where correctness, traceability, and reliability are non-negotiable
• Collaborate with a team-first mindset: invite input early, surface blockers fast, and give/receive feedback in a constructive way
• Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience within the energy market, billing/payments or financial systems, internal platforms/dev tooling, or parts of our stack (.NET, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS, Postgres) a plus
