Big Data Engineer - TikTok Recommendation Architecture

TikTok is seeking a Big Data Engineer to join its Recommendation Architecture Team. The successful candidate will design and implement offline data architectures, storage and computing systems, and trouble-shoot production systems to ensure high availability and performance. They will also develop and implement techniques and analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with open source frameworks in the field of big data
• Proficiency in Java, C++, and other programming languages
• Strong coding and trouble shooting ability
• Willingness to learn new technologies and challenge questions with no obvious answers
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
