Job Description
Timken is seeking a motivated State Tax Manager to lead its state and local tax functions. This role involves managing U.S. state and local tax matters, ensuring compliance, preparing tax returns, and managing tax audits. Requirements
- Lead U.S. state tax compliance and estimated payments
- Lead the preparation of the Company’s U.S. state quarterly and annual tax provision
- Lead the preparation of the Company’s U.S. state property tax, franchise tax and sales and use tax accruals
- Manage state tax audits and related matters
- Assist in the implementation of state tax planning strategies
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
