Environmental Scientist - CWA Section 404/401

Timmons Group is seeking a full-time Environmental Scientist for our Environmental Group located in our Richmond, VA office location. The Environmental Scientist will be responsible for the development, submission, processing, and negotiation of issuance for permits associated with impacts to both federal and state waters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, Environmental Law, or policy related discipline
• Two to Four years of Environmental Science experience
• Experience in the Natural Resources field with an emphasis on wetland and stream permitting and its associated regulatory processes
• Firm understanding of regulatory processes related to surface waters in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Understanding of regulations associated with threatened and endangered species, as well as cultural resources
