Survey Instrument Operator

Timmons Group is seeking a Survey Instrument Operator to join their Survey group for future opportunities. The ideal candidate will assist Land Surveyors and Party Chiefs in application of principles, methods, and techniques of civil engineering and land surveying.

Requirements

• Participate in Field Crew operations to provide field data for boundary surveys, topographical and construction stakeout surveys
• Learn to operate total station, level, GPS and data collectors for use in the collection field of survey data
• Under the guidance of a Party Chief, works on construction stakeout projects
• Learns daily maintenance and up-keep of instruments
• Provides clear and concise field notes including sketches
