TNTP is a nonprofit organization that brings research, policy, and consulting together to meet the needs and aspirations of young people, families, communities, and the nation. We are seeking a part-time Instructional Designer to work on our Integrated Learning Design team, designing engaging learning content for adult learners whose work directly affects students in public PK – 12 settings.
Requirements
- Collaborate with course and content development teams to produce high-quality learning products
- Adhere to ILD guidelines, specifications, templates, and design standards to ensure consistency across courses
- Use adult learning theory and instructional design best practices to create effective asynchronous and synchronous learning experiences
- Design and build online courses using Articulate Rise and other digital tools as needed
- Design and build instructor-led training (ILT)
- Develop course collateral such as facilitator guides, participant guides, workbooks, and other learning supports
- Ensure alignment across all course components—objectives, content, activities, assessments, and collateral materials—within and across modules
- Design and build courses that meet ADA and WCAG Level A-AA accessibility requirements
- Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure instructional accuracy, accessibility, and template fidelity
