Job Description
Together AI is seeking a Research Scientist to work on the methods for increasing the efficiency of training foundation models. The role involves studying recent research findings, proposing new approaches, and collaborating with engineers to integrate those improvements into the platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of algorithm development and publication in ML/ML Systems conferences.
Requirements
- Define and drive the research agenda around efficiency and performance of foundation model training
- Study recent results from the broader AI research community and analyze their relevance to the team’s research directions
- Conduct experiments to validate hypotheses and compare outcomes with related work
- Share your findings both internally and externally
- Partner with Machine Learning Engineers to integrate advanced methods into Together’s Model Shaping platform
