Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) - Active TS/SCI with FSP

A full-funded, mission-critical Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) role is required for a client program in Tysons, VA, with responsibilities including defining and implementing security requirements, cybersecurity advisory, and accreditation support. The role involves vulnerability scanning, policy enforcement, and documentation of security protocols.

Requirements

• Lead automated security testing.
• Create and deliver Monthly Vulnerability Scans and Reports.
• Collaborate with the technical team to develop and maintain Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs).
• Serve as the overall lead for ensuring systems are secure.
• Coordinate with the Sponsor’s Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and INFOSEC Program Council.
• Maintain the program’s System Security Plan (SSP) for A&A activities.
• Provide security education and awareness programs.
• Develop and maintain the program’s Automated Information Systems (AIS) Plan
