Job Description
Torch Dental is a rapidly growing healthcare supply start-up seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, deploy, and operate its AI systems. The role involves ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable AI workloads for LLM-powered features and backend services, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring other engineers. They focus on improving healthcare provider efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or infrastructure engineering
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience designing and managing infrastructure as code
- Familiarity with HIPAA or other regulated healthcare environments
- Demonstrated record of building scalable, secure, and reliable systems
