Job Description
Torex Gold is seeking a Technical Mechanic to maintain the operational availability of process equipment at their Morelos Gold property in Guerrero State. The role involves performing maintenance tasks, adhering to safety and environmental standards, and participating in continuous improvement. This position supports the company's ongoing efforts to diversify their geographic location.
Requirements
- Desirable Technical in Mechanics, welding, mechanical engineering or related.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in this area.
- Capable of working independently, without supervision.
- High degree of time and task prioritization skills.
- Ability to work as a team.
- Unwavering commitment to safety.
- High degree of verbal communication with ability to listen to others.
- Knowledge of rotating breakers, cones, conveyor belts, speed reducers, chains, mills, SAG and bolas.
- Knowledge in force transmission system.
- Knowledge in mechanical maintenance of floatation cells.
- Weld Industrial, fastening, cutting with acetylene.
- Assembly, disassembly of piping, threading, brad, and victorial.
- Manual tools polishing, metal cutting.
- Weld with Arciair, plasma tools handling.
