Tech I - Fire

Total Safety is looking for a Fire Technician to join their safety conscious team. The Fire Technician will provide service, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair for fire equipment, including portable and semi-portable fire extinguishers, lifesaving equipment, and fire detection systems.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license from state of residence
• Valid proof of vehicle insurance
• Safe driving record and insurability for Total Safety vehicle insurance
• Forklift experience
• Ability to pass internal forklift certification
• Ability to travel to customer's site and availability for travel
• TWIC card and safety testing (Basic Plus, OSHA 10 hour, etc.)
• State Fire Licenses (if required by State) or NICET Level II testing (if State Licensing not required)
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (State, OSHA, and NFPA regulations)
• Code of Federal Regulations, Coast Guard, and ABS regulations (if offshore)
• Proficiency in Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work in a team environment and assume additional responsibilities
