Job Description
The Facilities HVAC Technician is responsible for the daily maintenance and repair of the HVAC systems as assigned by the Facilities Manager. The position is located in Henderson, Nevada, and requires a high school diploma or G.E.D and 2 years of HVAC experience in maintenance and repair.
Requirements
- Maintain the performance of the heating, ventilation, and cooling systems.
- Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
- Maintain proper stock of parts, tools, and safety equipment.
- Maintains and repairs buildings and equipment.
- Perform daily inspections of areas. Ensure buildings are safe, fully operational, clean, and meets exceptional appearance standards.
- Remedy any discrepancies through a work order and/or vendor.
- Ensure all safety equipment is present and functional.
- Complete all assigned work orders within the specified time as assigned by the supervisor.
- Monitor and promote workplace safety. Assures adherence to safety rules, regulations, procedures, and precautions while involved in work tasks.
- Prepare purchase requests for supplies and equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
