The Assistant Professor plays a pivotal role in the masters Program in Teaching Literacy, PreK-12, designing and delivering program courses that focus on teaching literacy skills to students in the PreK-12 grade levels and ensuring overall program effectiveness.
Requirements
- Earned doctorate in Education, or related field, ABD with anticipated conferral date within one year of hire considered
- Successful PreK-12 classroom teaching experience of three or more years, working with students who have diverse learning needs
- Successful experience in assessment and data use in the PreK-12 classroom with evidence of positive learning and development for diverse groups of students
