Associate, Procurement

Tower Research Capital is a leading quantitative trading firm seeking a highly organized and proactive Procurement Associate to support their Procurement operations in the Americas. The role involves generating and managing purchase orders, identifying suppliers, negotiating pricing, and supporting the global Procurement Team. It requires a proactive approach to problem solving and collaboration with various internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Generating and managing purchase orders in alignment with stakeholder requisitions
• Identifying and assessing prospective suppliers, soliciting quotations, and negotiating optimal pricing and contractual terms
• Collaborating with senior procurement leadership to monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to service level agreements
• Partnering with Project Managers and key stakeholders to align on technical requirements, budgets, timelines, and execution of procurement activities
• Coordinating with vendors and Finance to reconcile invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely and accurate payment processing
• Supporting data collection and analysis efforts related to cost optimization, vendor benchmarking, and strategic sourcing initiatives
• Facilitating domestic and international shipments of IT, trading, and office equipment
• Assisting global Procurement team members with ad hoc projects
• Demonstrated ability to exhibit judgment and decision making skills
