Job Description
This position involves performing MRI exams, preparing patient rooms, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations and in-service training. The role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information. The imaging center is open on weekends and offers overtime flexibility.
Requirements
- Completion of ACR- approved school for Radiologic Technology
- One to three years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Current ARRT Certificate or ARMRIT certificate
- Strong working knowledge of medical terminology and cross sectional anatomy
- Strong working knowledge of MRI safety
- Strong working knowledge of blood borne pathogen requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to work flexible schedules
- Strong organizational skills, problem solving skills, basic computer skills
