Personal Trainer/Fitness Centre Supervisor

Reporting to the Coordinator, Recreation, this part-time position is responsible for ensuring a safe and welcoming environment in the Fitness Centre, promoting Personal Training, and providing individual or group training to clients.

Requirements

• Current CSEP-CPT or Certified Personal Trainer in equivalent organization
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR C certification
• Completion of post-secondary education in Health & Fitness Promotion, Recreation & Leisure Services or a related field (preferred)
• One (1) year working within a Fitness Centre setting and one (1) year personal training experience (preferred)
• HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child Development (preferred)
• Fundamentals of Fitness Leadership (preferred)
• Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
