Seasonal Maintenance Operator

The Town of Milton’s Operations Department is currently accepting applications for the contract position of Seasonal Maintenance Operator – Roads. The Seasonal Maintenance Operator supports daily activities of operational services within the division, performing various operational tasks to support various areas such as roads and sidewalks while ensuring they are meeting service levels and following all safety standards.

Requirements

• Secondary School diploma required or equivalent
• Minimum one (1) year experience in municipal public works or parks and/or other relevant and/or equivalent experience
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in municipal road, park or forestry and horticulture operations considered an asset
• Class G License in good standing
• DZ License with a satisfactory driving record is required for staff working with roads operations in the winter
• A valid Standard First Aid / CPR-C and AED certification would be considered an asset
